Lol I run 7 times a week, and on 5 of those days I do an hour work out that involves lifting weights, calisthenics and a minute plank at the end.
I practice Muay Thai too but I aināt been in the gym in a while
I have throw away shoes for running
& part of the reason i invested in a treadmill just in case for weather or just because i cant or dont wanna go out or sumn
if not for my gym membership id get a tread mill
You must have good conditioning
i gotta start from the bottom up lol
covid quarantine last year turned me into a degenerate picked up a vaping habit and gained 40 lbs because i was lazy gyms were shutdown
Running on a treadmill is depressing I feel like, if youāre not running in the environment like how our ancestors used to, I feel like youāre not getting the full benefit of running

Its just convenient.
And treadmills are fun its like playing a video game imo, & i love all the options you can do such as creating inclines, resistances & varying levels of speed.
I have my treadmill in the middle of the room i pull out from the side, so im not just staring at a wall.
It's amazing & for specific needs/training it can do things regular runs cant & make certain routines easier to achieve.
Plus its just fun to f*** around on it.
When u try going straight from turtle to rabbit at maximum incline playing with death
OP Iām currently recovering from a ruptured Achilles but Iām interested in getting into running. I feel like part of the reason why I injured myself is due to the fact that all I focused on was weightlifting and I think I need to venture out into things Iām not used to do. Starting out on the stationary bike currently but plan on running when Iām able

I got a stamina bike in the house too.
Trying to up my push through on higher resistances n friction. I can do 6 out of 10 now fairly easy. I wanna get to 8.

Itās honestly a lot more challenging that I thought it would be but I feel like thatās partially due to not really being stimulated while doing it. I think I need to find a book or something to read to make the time go by
50 miles a week now, used to be super into it years back
Love my weekend morning runs
