The voice acting for one season of the boondocks probably takes 6-12 hours of work per voice actor.

On Joe Rogan though, his son did a pretty good impression. I wouldn't be mad at them starting it off with Pops' funeral and he just comes back through flashbacks and little one liners/advice/etc.

I'd rather them get an older dude in the group home to fill grandad's adult role but in a fresh new way

You'd see him and Huey diverge more, with Huey probably struggling to look out for him

You have a bunch of Freeman family possible characters if they're back in Chicago too.

Especially with the Freeman relatives (Wouldn't be mad at JD Witherspoon and The Wayans Bros. for this) + Riley jumping off the porch and Huey and him going their separate ways. They could really make some crazy s***. RIP Spoon but it lowkey might force them to expand the premise and plot setup of the show to some real s*** while keeping the social humor.

Not to mention Chicago being the epicenter and great example/setting of relevant black culture since the show went off the air
