I always wonder if the b12 and a supplements are really that good for you tho. Wouldn’t it be better from actual foods?
The trouble with B12 is that it's not naturally occurring in any plants. We used to get it from soil residue on plants, basically from small amounts of dirt, but now with our vegetables being grown in soil that contains pesticides it's not good anymore. So it really is the one supplement that you need to take as a vegan. Everything else however can be gotten on a well-rounded diet and I'm personally a fan of that approach.
Coming up on 10yrs
absolute KING
4 years for me
i been in this since the 20th december 2017
There were so little options for restaurants when I first went, so I started cooking most things myself. But now in my city there's like 8-9 different vegan restaurants, and 2 vegan festivals in the Summer. Vegans are entering our golden age
Slowly been eating less and less meat but letting cheese go is a tough one
Every little bit helps. You can essentially be vegan except for meat and cheese like once a week you know? You're still doing your body, the animals, and the planet so much good by reducing your animal product consumption overall.
What i been eating on lately. Killing the breakfast game too but don't have pics of that one. Basically just diced vegetables with shredded brussel sprouts, spinach, tvp, and salsa. So fire.

That’s tight, I’m trying to do the same thing
And thank you! My best friend is vegan so the transition was fairly simple for me. She made me watch a few docs and try different foods throughout all of last year
After awhile I was noticing I was going days without eating meat/dairy products so I decided to go all the way with it
Gonna be itt more often bc I wanna learn as much as possible

Hell yeah that's what up! Similar change for me, my girlfriend at the time was vegan and did most of the cooking. Few months go by and I do some research and realize dam the meat and dairy industry super f***ed up and I been vegan ever since. One of the best decisions I ever made tbh.
Good to have you in the thread.
This been my go-to breakfast if i have 20 min to make it. Diced onion, bell pepper, and zucchini with shredded brussels sprouts and spinach, black or pinto beans, corn, and a little bit of plant based chorizo. It's really fire and has a great nutritional profile with all the various veggies and beans. Throw some green chile and nooch on that b**** and it's f***in goated on the sticks.
Thinking I might try it with lentils and/or quinoa next time.
Lowkey... if niggas was vegan this Rona might not even be here... but I'll save that one for another day...
What we eating today boys?
Marinated some tofu in some maple syrup, soy sauce and lemon pepper season overnight. Freezing it now so the tofu toughen up, and then I'm tossing it in the oven for about an hour while I cook some rice and greens
