    one is a hip-hop album while the other is a pop album. both are pretty influential on hip-hop but also mostly to a specific group of ppl in a time period. i will say tho i'm definitely listening to 808s more than paid in full lol

    Both are equally influential for each eras.

    Pain in Full inspired an entire era of MC'S, and 808s changed the
    landscape for how hiphop will sound.

    Just because I know that 80% of people here dont acc know the impact, without Paid In Full we wouldnt have Illmatic.
