that said, if you know what you doing, throwing some trap drums over a splice loop is easy and the beat will be hot but it’s not gonna be a classic or anything

It's not that, but the idea of working on different parts of the beat and putting them accordingly to what your idea is, its kinda tiring and sometimes it can put you through hard s*** to the point you wish you had a gun to kys

It's very easy if you know a little bit of music theory.

Alot of instruments go in the same place on every beat.

Also if you know how to stretch loops and eq correctly you can make a dope beat in like 10 minutes

since your beats take so long to be crafted and are so good

op only has 8track recordings. you need a 2" reel 2 reel player in order to hear his masterpieces.

It can be quick when you find the right sample, but if you're building it from the ground up yeah that's way more of a science

When you go to sell your s*** people are gonna go for the more simple ones. Also midi presets from previous beats you made could definitely save you hella time when just trying to lay down a base for your ideas.
