that said, if you know what you doing, throwing some trap drums over a splice loop is easy and the beat will be hot but it’s not gonna be a classic or anything

i was fr one of those people who thought you need every drum kit and vst. when really it was just overwhelming and slowing down my workflow.
computer broke and i lost three years of hardwork. now all i got is purity, xpand, and sum reddit drum kits and i’m making better music than ever, faster.
granted, experience makes production faster, however so does decluttering!

not what I meant lol. Some producers get a loop, throw some generic trap snares 808s and hats on it and call it a day - it can be a hot beat but that’s it
that said, stacking loops or actually producing around one and making a classic - definitely possible. Been done a lot. Srry if I wasn’t bein clear
