I’m off work this week and was sleeping late and waking up late this week but woke up early today so thought I’d reset today. Was happy I woke up early
No caffeine, no gym today.. kinda spent the day on KTT and listening to music
It’s prolly the gadgets keeping me up though.

Does anyone do Miracle mornings? My friend lives by them
what is that
oh wait nvm i found a great synopsis one sec
what is that
I think it’s morning meditations, affirmations goal setting early in the morning before you start your day said it changed his mornings
I think it’s morning meditations, affirmations goal setting early in the morning before you start your day said it changed his mornings
so its silence, affirmations, visualization, exercise, reading, and journaling
I do everything but the affirmations and visualization
I think its a good template, give it a shot
Day 1: of trying to turn my s*** around
Decided I want my persistent wake up time to be 6am. I started watching this Netflix x Headspace series last night on how to sleep and got some techniques to try in bed. E.g. 4-4-6 breathing, body scan, and counting down from 1000.
I think they worked in shutting my brain down and gonna continue using them.
As for when i woke up, when my alarm got off at 6am, my phone was on my bedside table across the room. I got up, turned it off, and crashed in bed again woke up naturally at 7:30am
Not sure what to do to make myself not immediately go back to sleep after turning off my alarm

Tried to, but unsuccessful because making a habit out of it still requires having a consistent wake up time so you have the hour to do it before life’s responsibilities hit you in the face.
been perfecting my sleep schedule since high school. staying up until 2 to 3 am and waking up at 7 for school. I'm now able to operate perfectly on 4 or 5 hours of sleep for the majority of the week
I'll take a day to get a good 8-10 hours in every now and then but I've significantly reduced the amount of time I spend wasting on sleep. feels great and I'm way more productive
the best schedule there is is sleeping at 7 am and waking up at 12 pm

This is a lot of actionable advice, I’m going to try to apply it gradually. The first one says:
1) View sunlight by going outside within 30-60 minutes of waking. Do that again in the late afternoon, prior to sunset.
I’m trying to figure out how I would do this consistently, like what my morning routine would be

I don’t think 4-5h is healthy in the long term

get a sleep tracker (smartwatch, fitness band). seeing the data helps to constantly remind you to aim for a good sleep
try not to eat anything heavy 5, 6 hours before you sleep. Digestion is a slow process and takes energy, cant have our body working overtime when we want em to focus on resting during sleep time
its whatever to me about using gadgets b4 sleep. the exposure effect i mean thats all in our brain. like i try not to browse engaging stuff around that time. i just want to chill and some casual things can help with that
this just me but i like a warm drink sometimes, genmaicha hits fr
