i was just telling my Poke Superfan friend this lol they only showed that trailer for investors and general public hype and it was an older trailer too probably wasn't actually meant to go public but they said ah f*** it we need something for now
even late September, early October 2022 or early 2023 would be a good guess
We thought the same s*** about SWSH.
Legends has a lot of potential but if they f*** it up and it sells like s***, you already know GF gonna shelve the idea of open-world Pokemon for like another decade even though they put out some half baked s***.
They have literally the most amazing opportunity to make something special but I know its gonna be plagued with s***ty framerate, terrible writing, no voice acting, and mid ass animations. I just expect absolutely nothing from them at this stage in the game.

Yea I doubt Legends will be delayed but I still think it’ll be a great game honestly. GF has had enough practice developing in HD with LGPE & SWSH. Isle/Crown wild areas also helped them get better and developing more open world type areas.
They also have a habit of going all out and treating remakes like passion projects. Yea this isn’t really a remake but it’s still a DPPT prequel. I think they’ll try to knock it out of the park like they did with HGSS, ORAS, and LGPE. We’ve already seen the distortion world in the leaks
The only thing I’m worried about rn is the framerate because that s*** was abysmal in the trailer.
Hope what we last saw was very early footage cause if that's how the game's gonna look im gonna cry
Officially Twitter-dropped outta nowhere. What the heck? Still dope. Arceus coming earlier than I expected. No pre-E3 Pokémon Direct this year?
This is what will make me buy a switch
keep on sucking cause im c*******
Lmao dude in here was tryna tell me Legends was over a a year, maybe two years away

Why would they just shock drop the information like that
Worst managed company ever I stg. Literally been moving backwards since 2016
The two month gap of games is going to cannibalize their sales. When the game inevitably does s***ty because GameFreak are literally bottom 5 developers and will make a lackluster game, people are going to cry for the original formula and we are going to be back to square one.
This is what happens when you don’t hold game studios accountable.
I hope I’m horribly wrong but their track record goes against them.
Also, to the ppl saying this is a surprise drop, it really isn’t. They’re definitely gearing up for E3 and stuff. Probably will have playable demos or some s*** and a Treehouse event. This doesn’t feel surprisingly in the slightest to me
is there a chance that we're getting finagled and that LEGENDS ends up way better than we can possible expect? due to GF moving into Nintendo offices there's a chance that resources were reallocated after the (financial) success of Sw/Sh
or is there a chance that Legends is a flop and GF knows of the risk and is just firing it out there?

agreed
The Pokémon Legends footage used in the Pokémon Presents was apparently captured from a build from December 2020. - CentroLeaks
so they're telling us somehow they made the game amazing in less than 1 year's time? from that footage?

I genuinely do not think Pokemon can cannibalize its own sales. They will both sell absurdly well

I mean I can see them underperforming for Pokémon standards and that’s good enough for them to return to same ole same ole I think.
We will see though
