Prometheus could have been excellent and there are aspects of it that I still love but cutting the scene where the plot shift they tried to start with that film would have made perfect sense ruined it
i've only seen Blade Runner once so I won't say too much but I do think I connected with Blade Runner 2049 more.
I really have to watch that one, I'm waiting for it to be on streaming but it never is so I'm assuming it's prolly really good lol 🧐

Big fax
Legend. His filmography is hit or miss but one of the best at directing a large scale battle scene

I hate even talking about “could’ve been” stuff regarding art in any way especially when it’s through leaks but there’s no way around how it objectively would have fixed most peoples biggest complaints with the film

Yeah napoleon war scenes were wicked

He is great at capturing the grandiosity of his epic's but I think he sometimes can overindulge himself and get lost in his sauce lol like gladiator 1 was historically inaccurate but you didn't care because the drama was on such a grand scale and the story was riveting
someone let me know if there’s a worse cormac mccarthy adaptation than the counselor, like this guy has some abominations tied to his name
Alien alone makes him a legend. And then he has multiple more classics on top of that. He’s allowed to have some absolute s*** ones imo.

The only scene in alien that aged a day is when she sends it out the airlock that suit looks awful

Lmao yeah seeing it in theaters again this year was fire.
You could genuinely screenshot any frame in that movie though and say it came out today and I’d believe you

They didn’t play it near me
Scariest s*** my grandmother ever saw though I remember her telling me about seeing it in cinemas when I was like 10
Considering late stage Scott is still putting out quality films? I’d say he’s a legend through and through
And he’s got the catalog to prove it
I’d say the hits far outweigh the misses
A little bit of both. His prolific nature kinda helps him and takes away from his work

he is unquestionably a legend based on what he did through like 2003 lmao
I honestly find the title very click baity and ridiculous. Dude has made way too many hits to be a hack. I haven’t watched video yet

Yeah gladiator 1 & 2 and napoleon all weren’t historically accurate lol

I didn’t even bother watching it
I can’t put a finger on both. I feel his filmography can be divided into eras like a golden age so and so.
