Prometheus could have been excellent and there are aspects of it that I still love but cutting the scene where the plot shift they tried to start with that film would have made perfect sense ruined it

Legend. His filmography is hit or miss but one of the best at directing a large scale battle scene

I hate even talking about “could’ve been” stuff regarding art in any way especially when it’s through leaks but there’s no way around how it objectively would have fixed most peoples biggest complaints with the film

Yeah napoleon war scenes were wicked

He is great at capturing the grandiosity of his epic's but I think he sometimes can overindulge himself and get lost in his sauce lol like gladiator 1 was historically inaccurate but you didn't care because the drama was on such a grand scale and the story was riveting

Alien alone makes him a legend. And then he has multiple more classics on top of that. He’s allowed to have some absolute s*** ones imo.

The only scene in alien that aged a day is when she sends it out the airlock that suit looks awful
