Because Don lacked hooks on the joint. He made better songs then Heaven & Hell, but the hooks in that album were alot more catchy and infectious.

A Don Toliver album with the quality of LOAD + the Hooks of H&H is gonna be his opus.

If he would’ve dropped that same exact body of work one year earlier it would’ve gotten the same exact response, the timeframe between the projects has nothing to do with the reception it received
