i liked parts of 1 a lot just the ending chapters felt weird pacing wise - idk maybe i’ll check it out it’s been 10 + years since i played
The pacing in 2 would probably throw you off, long game with a lot of moving parts.
That said, if you can get engaged and enjoy the gameplay I think it would still be worth trying.

i might as well go for it, i like when people like things

Part 2 is worth it just for the gameplay alone, miles ahead of Part 1
Idk who this guy is but he’s right
Great game but idk how people do multiple playthroughs
gameplay is too fire
Can you play survivor mode on easy?
Might try that...
custom difficulty means u can change a lot of the games parameters
my go to is
grounded health + stealth
easy ammo+allies
u can change more and those i probably put on grounded but thats my go to for a really fun, difficult but powerful playthrough
it’s a good mix for rambo + stealth gameplays, some parts i just had to do stealth but the times you can go ham feel so f***ing satisfying
gameplay is too fire
You ain’t lying which is why I’m still pissed we never got factions 2.0
Crazy how Part 2 knocks Part 1 out of the water. Part 1 isn't bad but the jump from Part 1 to Part 2 was very big to me.

Apparently they were just too ambitious in what they planned with it. Which I blame druckman. Factions would be a hit and won't happen just due to bad leadership

druckmann had 0 involvement with factions lol. wasnt his team.
Factions got cancelled cause Bungie told them in order for them to support the vision they had, their entire studio would have to focus on constantly supporting it so theres always new content + a revenue stream for it. and the cost of that would be higher then cancelling it. They didnt want to become a GAAS studio.
Great game but idk how people do multiple playthroughs
You mean because it’s so depraved and gruesome? I have trouble replaying because of that personally lmao
Or did you mean you thought it wasn’t a good campaign?

It’s sometimes a slog to get through. In between the fire segments of combat and stealth there’s tons of walking simulator and basic puzzle solving. No Return was a much needed addition imo

i love those slow walking sections so much. i knows its not for everyone but the story so good in this game to me i f***ing love every bit im given. and they add so much to the characters
This still one of the best, if not the best single player action adventure games of all time, level design and set pieces wise. This was incredible. It was a third person action game like many many others but something about this felt so epic. I don't care too much for the story either way. I thought it was fine, and know a lot of people hated it.
I do wish it could have been Joel and Ellie again, going through some of those amazing set pieces. Like imagine Joel going to fight the rat king to get that medical equipment to save Ellie. Man epic meter would be through th roof. But whatever they wanted to do something different, it is what it is people can be mad all they want nothing is f***in with it campaign wise.

Campaign was good, it’s just such an involved and heavy storyline I just couldn’t put myself through it again. It’s an amazing one time experience for me
