I read delusion. OP you're saying the only albums "enhanced by production and visuals" in the 2010s are MBDTF and Endless?
Makes you seems like you only like BTI because you haven't heard other better albums.
That being said the "second act" with 3005, Telegraph Eve, Sweatpants, Worst Guys and Shadows is very cool.
I can't say he "crafted" a universe though. "The Boy" just seems like a cold, angsty, rich teenager and doesn't get explored.
Yeah I never understood all the extra stuff artists try to do the most with. No one in the future is going to take that into account just put all that energy into the music and make it good
I'm ok with it. It's cool and can be remembered like I do go back to watch the Runaway films and it enhances the album.
It's just so many other "visual albums" that do it really well:
When I Get Home - Solange
Lemonade - Beyoncé
Beyoncé - Beyoncé
Dirty Computer - Janelle Monae
Prima Donna - Vince Staples
I'm sure there are more...
Tyler's albums always have strong visuals too
it’s a pretty cool staircase tho
What if Bladee build stair? It would be the same thing
What if Bladee build stair? It would be the same thing
bladee building a staircase would be cool too
I wouldn’t say Frank doing it made endless a masterpiece, but I did find it quite beautiful
Yeah, guess it's a cult classic. I mean, look at the division within this thread even lol. I'm sure many weren't actually around when this dropped though. S*** was a moment, the screenplay with the album was a really dope experience. I appreciate Donald for all that he does artistically. He's a great for sure, whether others see it or not.

Did you read the screenplay? Did you watch the short film? The Boy is so much more than a rich angsty teenager.
