when ye and 50 had that media made "Clash" where graduation and...Curtis (i think) came out on the same day they had a convo about how ye was all aesthetics and this new synthpoppy sound didn't have enough substance.
But i'm remembering like old rolling stone articles and s*** that i havent read in 20 years so take with a grain of salt
