I didn’t bring up a*** s***being a crime to say it was illegal to rape slaves, I was bringing it up to show the attitudes towards homosexuality at the time. Because Christianity is one of the main reasons why sodomy was illegal in the first place. Under Roman slavery, yeah you could expect a lot of the black male slaves to be raped, but changing societal norms meant the white men were almost entirely interested in the black women only
