this post is so f***ing stupid, using “christian homophobia” to dismiss male rape while asserting regular rape to be a truth as if that aligns w Christian belief at all. REGARDLESS, ‘Christian belief’ didn’t do a damn thing to regulate the s*** that happened on plantations

You’re an idiot. There’s no historical backing for buck breaking as a practice and there is plenty of historical evidence for other ways in which male slaves and female slaves alike have been sexually abused. I’ve explained myself multiple times itt that people can use religion as a crutch to especially hate something they already didn’t want to do

It wasn’t an ambiguous post. He said it wasn’t true, point blank. And has been continuing to argue against discussing the possibility for multiple pages

Once again I’ve said at least twice that I could believe individual male slaves have been raped, but the explicit practice of raping the strongest male slave to show dominance over the plantation isn’t real. The fact that you’ve read through this thread and can’t understand what I’m arguing is concerning

I didn’t say that no male salve was ever raped, I said make slices weren’t raped in front of the whole plantation as a show of dominance. That has no historical backing

There were an innumerable amount of f***ed up practices that will never have historical backing.

Fighting hard just to say “Yes they did this, but not this that’s ludicrous” is worthless in this situation

  • Jun 13, 2020

how do you even get an erection under all that stress?

You can’t make an ahistorical claim and expect people to just accept it. It annoys me because the actual history is already bad enough without the fake stuff being there to discredit it. There are numerious first hand experiences from slaves themselves detailing the various ways they’ve been sexually and physically abused, history doesn’t need sensational male on male rape to add on

He claimed in a later post he was disputing that it was a widespread practice, rather than disputing the existence of the practice point blank.

I personally read it as the latter, and it still looks that way to me, but can accept that it could mean the former as well

  • I wount be surprised tbh. They treated them like property.

  • Jun 13, 2020

Im gonna assume you mean Ameica and say yes. But slaves existed long before America was even discovered and Im sure at some point some were forced to do this.

If we start the case of why black people deserves reparations at 1900, ignoring slavery, its still over due.

We just gon skip and hop over 100 years of systemic racism and Jim Crow, lynchings, etc? Nixon/Reagan and their effects to this day?

Lmao that man ignored the facts in this post

    Whites. ..... Ate us ?

    Yes.

Nat Turner was skinned, eaten, boiled into grease and his skin was made into purses. This is said in multiple slave narratives + the person who skinned him was so proud of it he wrote about it in his own obituary.

And it was called "Nat's Grease". Recently they might have found his skull, so his descendants might be able to put him to rest in a decent place but they've never found his body because of what they did with it.

The Delectable Negro goes into this.

One of the white mods locked it because he didn’t understand the discussion. I’m glad he re-opened it because I’m learning so much new information from this thread

Christianity is used as an excuse to overhate something you already didn’t want to do. Before abrahamic religion became popular in Europe, it wasn’t like there were more gay people than straight people, but knowing there was a moral justification for banning it made it all the easier for it to be stigmatized. On the other hand, religion also bans lying, stealing, cheating, etc. but everyone still does these things because it’s in their interests to do so. Most men aren’t gay so society repressed homosexuality further than other actions banned by the Bible, to the point of making it illegal

I completely answered your question what are you talking about. Whether they closely followed the religion isn’t part of the question. Almost all people in the world break the rules of their religion everyday so them being devout isn’t what I was saying, I meant Christianity in general was the source of homophobia, and that seeing as most men aren’t gay it was easier to make that taboo than something like adultery

sadly yes, and the slave owner used to rape the most masculine male infront of all the slaves to assert their dominanace and insert a faith of even more hopelessness into the slaves.

it's painfully depressing that people went through this.

Ayo wtf, these Caucasians are some real devils.. holy s***..

If you really want an idea of what was going on during slavery in the Americas (not just the U.S.) I would suggest looking into slave narratives.

Finding out they turned Nat Turners dead body into grease and ate him was deeply disturbing.

You got anything you recommend? Books/articles/videos or sum like that?

Mods just be lockin s*** because THEY don’t like it

There obvious reasons when threads should be locked, but then there’s other times where the mod just takes it into his own hands cuz they THINK it ain’t right

Religion can easily stop you from doing something you didn’t want to do in the first place yeah. Plus it’s just as demasculating to rape the strongest mans wife in front of him, so why they not just do that instead

    Can but won’t

“Well known for touching boys too” you mean white Americans or ancient people who have nothing to do with this country

    Both

Sexual abuse with children is the most underreported crime in the western world

“Something you didn’t want to do in the first place” also I wasn’t saying that gay rape never happened, I was saying that the society at the time wouldn’t have allowed regular and public gay rape to be an acceptable thing
