Nov 10, 2020I finished Cowboy Bebop last night, basically a year after my last anime (NGE) and the genre is a strong 2/2 for me now. One thing I really like about both shows is how relatively short they are (but maybe this is more common across the genre than I realize). I do wish I could watch something that wasn’t so male audience leaning though, so maybe that could provide for a more specific recommendation? What’s a good anime in general to move on to? But also, what would be a good anime that is told from a more female perspective too, if possible?

GITS 1995 & SACare all worth watching
out of all those, black lagoon and GITS is probably the ones for you if you want stronger female leads. maybe FLCL too.

also do yourself a favor and watch the bebop movie. the NGE movie rebuilds are also pretty good imo but hit or miss and the final installment is (probably) releasing next year
