SNK one of the very few anime that deserves the praise it gets, i’d put that in my must watch list if i was you. Berserk a must read too
I finished Cowboy Bebop last night, basically a year after my last anime (NGE) and the genre is a strong 2/2 for me now. One thing I really like about both shows is how relatively short they are (but maybe this is more common across the genre than I realize). I do wish I could watch something that wasn’t so male audience leaning though, so maybe that could provide for a more specific recommendation? What’s a good anime in general to move on to? But also, what would be a good anime that is told from a more female perspective too, if possible?
You have to watch Samurai Champloo, same creator as CB
it's not worth watching the Berserk anime (any of them). the manga is 1000x better, and I'm not even one of those manga-only snobs.
I’ve been meaning to check it, but the original anime is still good. That along side Bebop, HXH & NGE are 4/4 goat shows

hmm tru but i feel like the OG berserk anime is the gateway for people to get into the manga tbh

Factual.
@op , if you liked Bebop, I think you'll like Samurai Champloo. highly recommend it.
i might be the only person on earth who prefers the darker 2003 version.
Older version had the better anime openings don’t @ me

it's not bad by any means, it just ends at the worst possible point in the story. it also skips a lot of great and important chapters for the sake of pacing.
if OP doesn't wanna read any manga though, it's an okay substitute. as long as he stays away from the 2016 series.

🔥🔥🔥
it had better music in general. fma 2003 is just better overall in characterization, emotion, and philosophy. people only prefer brotherhood because it’s more cheerful
