I will ALWAYS blame AK for the current state of rap fans. He made outsiders see black men dying as some form of entertainment. I don’t care what anyone say, he’s part to blame for this mess.

Yep, rap music is nothing but soundtrack to black folks committing genocide on one another for other races entertainment.

    S*** is sad

When niggas in Detroit and every major city in the South wanted to be Chicago niggas and gloat about packs and smoking on each other. Ops was never even a word in Detroit rap lingo even when drill was around, wasn’t until the younger generation started rapping that all of a sudden every hood rapper was yelling about ops, sliding, and packs. That s*** got teenage death numbers up in my city like a MF cause uneducated teens and s*** look up to these rappers and wanna be like them. Call me an Uncle Tom if you want. I’m a social worker so I see this s*** first hand and it’s opened my eyes to how important it is to teach kids at a young age rap is just entertainment.

I’ve gone to homes when the child has everything he needs, two parents, a house, nice clothes and etc but niggas wanna be like Peezy so bad and other scam rappers they end up doing dumb s*** or hang with criminals who they don’t even have to be around because they think the s*** is fun or “that’s how life is supposed to be”. It’s sad.

    Great post.

Young black kids being influenced by these degenerates and s*** is sad.

And nah this needs to be pointed out. Rap music is toxic to the black community. The whole culture that surrounds it and comes with it is destroying our people.

Sad how when niggas discuss this they get called uncle toms tho

Nah bro no need to feel bad.

S*** it’s effecting everybody. Kids of all race and creeds are more apathetic and miserable and I think rap and the glorification of murder, thotting and d**** plays a part in that

Nothing wrong with being concerned about what’s happening with rap music and it’s effect on people Rn

Clout is a disease forreal, people are so desensitized to the point people will post anything for likes/reactions. This is a big part why rap and it’s culture is so toxic now.

I wouldn't say fully sober but he had a heavy problem with percs a while back. he's been open about being done with that though. obviously still weed but I think he's cut back on most other stuff like lean and pills if not quit taking them completely.

You know I really appreciate it bro, thanks so much for the reassurance. In a way I felt kind of bad and like a an old person "ThE yOuTh Is BaD" posting this thread, but that wasn't the intention.

You're right, s*** is awful and toxic. It's been messing with everyone's heads.

rap has never always been toxic

labels just profitted off gangsta rap
culturally we stopped calling rappers out for being toxic and it just kept getting worse

Check out Choking_Butterfly's post about young people. I think it holds some truth about why this s*** became toxic.

Reflection of society, our society is dark right now, like you said "clout" era causing destructive behaviors in the youth for attention, these kids were raised by mostly narcissistic rude cynical parents from Generation X. It's all interlinked I feel like
