Nov 9, 2021MBDTF is such an outlier because it feels like everything was done with focus and intent, from the Gil Scott Heron sample to the full on maximalism of AOTL. The energy of the studio sessions seemed to have bled through especially because of how we know that it was like a camp. Also there's just so much variety in sounds and layers

Tyler could have one in his bag if he actually went through some s***. Right now his content is just "I'm lonely, I'm bi, I'm successful but this person still don't want me". All he needs is better content, to work with more people and I think he could do it tbh
I think a longer period of time between albums could be the formula to pulling together what made each of his projects great and putting out his magnum opus. Now that he’s kind of getting his flowers within the industry, I think it’ll open a lot of doors for him to branch out beyond the sound he’s been developing since around Wolf/Cherry Bomb. Definitely one of the top artists to watch during the 20’s because he really seems like he cares about his craft and putting out art over putting out s*** for the records and charts.

He has all the capability and talent to produce more songs in the same vein as Marvin's Room (pause)
Involve more artists production from his label ie DVSN, even the modern neo soul joints. He could make something more artistic and experimental. He just chases the stats and not good music.
No one who isn’t a producer is making an MBDTF-tier album.
