and ive seen over 2/3 of what ive listed get posted on here, with 100% of those threads containing replies saying “who?”, usually made by people who want to complain about how stagnant the genre is

Yeah I been stopped listening about a year ago. Will take a new artist coming up and blowing up for me to return to being an active hip hop listener tbh

The southern rap sound is kinda over & under whelming if you catch my drift. Its hard finding some proper left field s*** thats pushing the boundaries.
Ive been listening to alot of UK Rap tho. Novelist one of my favorite MC's.

there are fewer and fewer high quality rap albums coming out now than there was a few years back but i am still listening to hip-hop all the time. if you are starved of new albums there is always old classics to listen to.
