I actually think it’s cool to hear what fans can create.

People are acting way too uptight and way too elitist to just enjoy a creation.

Most of the ones I’ve seen aren’t being sold for profit/commercial usage, but rather as just a fan showing what they can do.

    Why are y’all so mad?

They probably don’t like it. Simple and plain.

I can understand not liking someone’s produced AI, but a few I’ve heard (Drake, Ye) are actually kind of dope.

But it’s more than not liking the song. People are mad at the overall concept of AI songs and won’t even listen.

Honestly it could be that they are scared of something so creepy you know. It’s like this is the beginning of robots taking over. Well it probably happened with the phones but this ai s*** can be extreme

because ai technology is only gonna end up being something that will jeopardize not only creativity but possibly the fabric of which we consider reality

Imagine making music your entire life and people take your voice and make their own songs with it that people unironically enjoy, thats a weird implication.

It might be cool now but its gonna spiral into unethical territory real quick especially cause I’ve seen people making original Juice WRLD and X songs using their voice models already, I won’t put it above their labels to actually look into this stuff given how badly they handled their posthumous material already. What can you do tho

Some of these ai songs funny as hell but I can see it getting outta hand real soon. Not just in music

  • Apr 18, 2023

Only been used as a novelty so far and the discussion around it, this tech bro investor hype cycle is the annoying part

Also, if you can't write bars stick to Trav instead of Drake and Hov maybe

Using AI to recreate artists’ voices is like deepfake p*rn, it’s absolutely disgusting and needs to be illegal.

People forget that these artists we love are real human beings and not just song machines. I’m sure no one on here would be okay with a robot recreating their voice and saying things that they never said themselves

Then don’t take 5 years to release an album

Completely true but the reality is most people just haven't made that connection and see artists as sources of entertainment before they see them as people

the ones that just impersonate an artists voice without their consent are just weird af, invasive and should be illegal

if youre talking about people using AI as a tool or AI creating original music otherwise then its a different convo but i dont get why you would be completely embracing the ability to make fake songs for existing artists

Because ai will never be real and when people circulate ai s*** without labeling it properly, it can cause confusion on what is real.
Not only that, but it effectively puts words into the mouths of people who never wanted to say those words.
Ai is getting more and more realistic, and soon enough there will probably be more people who believe that the artist actually said that s*** than didn’t.
Ai isn’t inherently bad, but it needs regulated. It should be illegal to use an artist’s voice without their consent, and if an artist asks you to take something down, you do so, no questions asked.
