Music is art, and AI technology is using the authenticity and likeness of actual artists. Zero originality in its basic definition

Technology usually breeds convenience which also then creates laziness. In theory, it can be fine as a tool, but like most things, tools become relied on the more popular it gets

In 2010 MJ's estate released 3 songs on a posthumous album with a vocal impersonator on them.

This type of AI s*** could lead to more of these things happening and people would be less likely to notice as AI becomes more and more powerful.

If you want this there are ethical ways to do so by using people who have already licensed their voices to be used by a.i and software companies i.e vocaloid. so there's a somewhat recognizable cursor to pinpoint a fake entity.

Also there is going to be a ethical and ip nightmare when people are going to be making songs by dead people legally.

A.I has the capacity to be great tools but people are too blindsided by the novelty of a new technology that they blatantly disregard the overall effects that this may have, as someone who uses multiple GPT based tools to improve my workflow.
