Lol and Drake doesn't? Over the last half-decade he's explored dancehall, Afrobeats, and drill (and also literally rapped in Spanish and French) and regularly experiments with different vocal inflections (N 2 Deep is a good example of this off CLB).
People just be hating because they're tired of Drake's dominance. Most of the criticism of this album has little substance behind it.

- some dancehall/afro beats s***
- some braggadocio s***
- some "real hip hop" s*** where hes rapping over a sample based beat
for the past 5 years hes just been remaking these 5 songs with pretty much the same producers and same collaborators

Drake fans miscontrue what ppl mean by sounding the same.
You can take CLB, Scorpion and Views and mix and match multiple songs and it wouldn't change those albums one bit.
Content, beats,lyrics and overall aesthetic is very similar through all of them.

That's why my fav tracks off CLB are Pipe Down and Race My Mind.
