Ali was talking all that s*** about Ayesha for being left behind in the Caravan (adultery fitnah) and booom The almighty sends down a whole page of verses on how great she is. Some wild s*** ay

Either Allah really took a personal interest in Muhammad's s***life, and or maybe the prophet was sick of the accusations against his favorite wife??

Inconsequential to someone being able to practice their religion and be a Muslim yes

    On your point of wahabism

Any idea can be weaponized not just religion

I'm not saying it's particular to islam or something, but there are definitely different takes on hadiths that i wouldn't exactly inconsequential das all

Do you believe in the Holy Trinity?

Do you believe Muhammad SWT was the messenger of Allah SWT?

If you answer no for the first and yes for the second, you are a Muslim basically

Muslims do believe Jesus was divine and performed miracles and in his teachings as well

I don’t believe in the trinity, it makes no sense to me that a man could be the equal or son or personified form of God. I believe god can work through people and use them to make his will known, such as Muhammad did. so it makes sense to me that Jesus was a prophet ordained by God in a similar fashion which is basically The Muslim belief on Jesus.

And I do believe Muhammad was the messenger of God, one among a larger group of prophets that proceeded him, like jesus.

It just makes no sense otherwise if not, that one man could establish such a large religion and explain the message from god/God’s will and not be someone divinely inspired directly by god. The Quran is beautiful and I feel it’s authenticity when I read it. I also feel that same authenticity when I read from the Bible as well. But I don’t believe any document is infallible, that I can personally endorse every single line of doctrine in it. It feels like that may be why I’m at a spiritual crossroad.

I’ve heard that the content has remained unchanged in The Quran/ The Quran is consistent. Islam makes way more sense to me then Christianity.

Brother you should Start with the GOAT Surah named after the GOAT himself.

    Surah 47 - Muhammad

    salattimes.com/surah-47-muhammad-muhammad

Hope you find peace in your journey ✌️

P.s read the translation but remember that anything in brackets is what the translator added himself.

so I’ve been rediscovering my faith and getting back in touch with my traditions in the last year or so and something that has been bothering me is that while I believe in the god of Islam/Christianity (Jehovah/Allah), I can’t say I believe or agree with every single thing in either book. I don’t believe in the divinity of Jesus but I believe in Jehovah or god the father, and I believe in most of the teachings of the prophet Muhammad pbuh so I guess I’m closer to being a Muslim then I am a Christian but there’s a few things in Islam I don’t perfectly align with as well. I was atheist for a long ass time too until recently because of some struggles with my
    Faith.

Anybody else who has gone through similar struggles who can give me some advice?

There's a Surah that keeps me grounded on what you are saying.

Ash-Shūrā 42:8 in the Qur'an states "And if Allah willed, He could have made them of one religion, but He admits whom He wills into His mercy. And the wrongdoers have not any protector or helper."

To me at least, it reminds me that while I do have faith that Islam is the correct path, the Qur'an itself is a confirmation of previous scriptures so I have to respect those who do follow those religions until the line is crossed and I have to defend my beliefs, but since I am not as well versed on the Qur'an since I reverted just last year, I try not to get into those conversations because I do recognize that I have the tendency to think that everybody else is wrong and can be uber critical.

I guess self awareness is the biggest things. I hope this helps?

  • Scratchin Mamba

Ehh i'm not so sure about them being inconsequential

Isn't a lot of wahhabism based on (obviously not held as credible by most muslims) hadiths

Most of what they do is based on Surah 47

you wont make it into the kingdom with this attitude

oh boy, I have to step out but I wanna come back to this actually because to an extent, ya you should be weary of those who practice factionalism over just praising the Lord, but I digress.

Op you can’t call yourself a Christian and believe in both Muhammad, and that Jesus is the last prophet. Hope you find peace

I’m closer to a Muslim then I am a Christian because I don’t believe in Christ being god. There are parts of the Bible when different prophets speak that make sense to me though as divine revelations from God, Same as how the Quran is considered the divine word of god as transmitted through Muhammad.
