JT is ElectricA recent trend in the rap community has been focusing on how much an artist sells but it’s obviously not a sign of quality in a record so why should we even care how much an artist sells?
I’m glad when my favorite musician is successful but counting their pockets and sales causes music to be a popularity contest.

I understand that you want your favorite artist to be successful and i was also happy when i heard that Carti went number 1 for example but there is no merit in knowing the exact sales number and comparing that to other artists numbers. Like some people on here are doing excel tables and s***.
