I’m not discrediting Pete Rock by saying he’s not the same type of producer as Neptunes and Timbaland

I’m not saying he’s not a goat bc he is but he wasnt part of the era of niggas constructing an entire record to give to artists

He’s a legend for different reasons on some hip hop s*** bc that’s what type of producer he chose to be. Like his sampling techniques for example. Neptunes and Timbaland werent known for their sampling at all but that doesn’t mean they aren’t as talented as Pete Rock either

The producers from Brockhampton should bail on that s***ty group, they are too talented for those trash rappers and mediocre singers.
I dont think they can become mainstream figures but they can definetly produce classics, they can be the true succesors of The Neptunes and Kanye (at least quality wise).
