Her depression was severe. Her meds would cause all types of mood swings and she'd be an a****** and say hurtful things. I honestly think most of it chalks up to her being a s***ty person idk

I was the usual one with episodes in these relationships that killed them to different extents. First girl she went too far tho. My partner and I have been through a lot from mine but also hers. I got her in dbt and helped cycle thru meds until she found good ones

Oh yeah my ex from the last year of high school had like a PTSD break cause my phone died when I was out one night and that was the end of that

damn man i did some reading on bipolar disorder 1 and from what i understand the person has extreme moods, and can be passionate about things to extremely happy to extremely sad, they call it mania i believe and they can be extremely angry if triggered. I know a guy who had it and wilded a bit.
Its hard to understand from a person who doesnt deal with it

Mania is like a state where you feel like you're living in Skyrim or GTA(single player). It's like you feel like you're the only real person that exists in reality, or have an insane inflated ego. It's like being pumped full of cocaine but you're sober.

Then it dies and you get depressed. Type 1 episodes can last months, type 2 is just shorter

Psychosis can happen from mania for other reasons too, stemming from limited abilities to sleep, you might be awake for days on end with mania

I once fell into a fugue state from long term mania and just woke up multiple days later in a psych ward. I thought I was in a dream at first because I had severe hallucinations
