tbh i lightweight agree that im missing out on quite a bit. at least if i were able to work in the office then transition to wfh things would be easier
i definitely agree. at the end of the day, most corporate jobs are dependent on how well you schmooze with others. in an ideal world, you would only be judged on your performance but s***'s not like that.
i really miss my old work office. i'd legit just bring my laptop to the kitchen in the afternoon and watch TV while doing work
not when you f***ers are putting up petrol prices. that money i saved ill happily stay in my yard! + i wake up 1 minute before 9am and roll over to my desk and im ready for work.
yeh i get to have a laugh at work in the office but its less productive also
Nah word I feel this used to have so many fine ass women at my old job just flirting ALL DAY
Now I’m in the crib just me and my computer
Started my professional life with remote work
Getting paid thousands of dollars every couple of weeks for doing 2-3 hours of work at home is the best.
Hybrid with options to be fully remote or as many days as you want in the office. Best of both worlds.
I miss meeting new people, talking s***, and being fake
Being fake at work is goated
Tl;dr
Young people need to get back in the office and suck d*** if they want promotions
Nope
I’ve gained a ton of free time back and not as stressed when I work at home vs in an office
Took a 10% paycut to work remote permanently and I have no regrets
Real asf 💯
remote work is more appealing and better overall
but you do miss out on the collaboration aspect
plus society is going to get even worse socially
i also used to listen to so much music when i'd work in the office. whether it was the train commute or just listening to music at my desk. it's not the same working from home

We literally have lives outside of work to socialize though
Why do our lives have to be built from our 9-5?
Not if business evolves to be purely digital, like on Zoom & stuff.
He’s probably referring to picking up real life corporate skills, like body language, verbiage & lying through your teeth with efficacy.
It’s 2022 old man.
