yeah, I dont miss the crowded kitchen, the smelly bathroom or fake smilling to everyone at f***ing 9 in the morning
Only thing I missed about the office was the social aspect. Missed going into work and cutting up with my friends and meeting new people.
Started my professional life with remote work
Getting paid thousands of dollars every couple of weeks for doing 2-3 hours of work at home is the best.
I agree tbh. I started a new job and it’s hard to build relationships with your other co workers. Feels like I’m on an island. Also I can’t get any fits off anymore.
A hybrid schedule would be the most ideal IMO
I'm glad these young people are following their dreams and not dealing with coporate work for the most part
Any black man should view corporate America as doing contract work.
If you're in a toxic work environment, strategize a plan and route.
Too much options out there to be dealing with this bullshit nowadays.
A balance of a couple days a week in the office and the rest WFH should be encouraged.
I’m a social person so 5 days WFH felt like I was missing out
I work from home 5 days a week.
It's not all good, I do miss the routine of going into downtown, into the office, that human interaction with the female receptionist, trying to eye what new b****es are in the building, etc.
but I definitely prefer WFH if I had to choose, and am happy that I can do so.
The #1 thing it highlights for me is just how much of our time every day was stolen by our jobs.
I work from home and can get my work done, work out, take my car to get washed, clean the house, etc. all in a day.
So much can be accomplished INCLUDING ACTUALLY WORKING by WFH. Going to the office is so unnecessary and it unnecessarily strips us of our actual lives, time that we can't get back.
Similarly, during the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit in May, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said that working remotely “does not work” for young people or “those who want to hustle.”
This article is deadass just the old people who have been conditioned to working one way taking how they feel and projecting it on to us
