As someone who has worked in plenty of offices, they are definitely not.

Took a 10% paycut to work remote permanently and I have no regrets

I’d literally do the same. Save so much on transit/gas plus not having to buy coffee/food outside.

Just the convenience of getting up in the cold and not having to throw on a suit & tie in frigid ass Canadian winters is well worth thousands.

I work in the office and it makes no substantial difference on my life

Some people are missing out on the social aspects of work.

Do a weekly meet up meeting in person for two hours. Leave and dip. Donzo. Maybe one work day in a rented office, then the rest at home.

    Save money on a location.

My entire office works off a laptop. I'm the only guy here with a desktop lol

Not if business evolves to be purely digital, like on Zoom & stuff.

He’s probably referring to picking up real life corporate skills, like body language, verbiage & lying through your teeth with efficacy.

    It’s 2022 old man.

Lifeless hacks mad that they can't be politicking employees
Meanwhile more and more companies wanna incorporate WFH up until there's no need to go to an actual office anymore
One small dub from this s*** situation at least

  • Jan 7, 2022

The rise of WFH is probably the only good thing that came out of this pandemic

A lot of office environments are toxic as f***

Hybrid is the way to go, sometimes you're more productive at the office than you are at home. But also u spend less money on gas driving ti work and feel more comfortable in ur home

We literally have lives outside of work to socialize though

Why do our lives have to be built from our 9-5?

work is a different type of socializing

people are going to get even more trapped in their bubbles

Being fake at work is goated

    “That’s a nice shirt Bobby. Also, I don’t think you’re a piece of s*** at all!”

Not surprised a bunch of people addicted to posting on an Internet forum are thinking otherwise though.

If you are more productive at work, do you get paid more?

    Most people do not.

Labeling someone’s home as a “house” is gonna be considered a micro-aggression at some point in the near future.

Just going outside and moving your legs is personal productivity

People who can work from home were probably not moving a lot at work. It's not like manual labor or service workers are doing their job from their computer now.

If anything, now they have the time and space to move instead of being chained to a desk in an office.
