wont catch me working more than 40 hour weeks. 30-35 hours ideally
its the furthest thing from being lazy, its about having a work life balance. imagine dedicating more than 30% of your time to a company or boss that doesnt give a s*** about you cbm
ITT: people who dont understand where surplus value comes from
No surplus value if no work is being done though (ex. common office job)
No surplus value if no work is being done though (ex. common office job)
so where does the money you make come from
think about it
A nation wide 4 day work week would be perfect. My uncle works at a company where they only work from Monday to Thursday
He works 10 hours a day tho, but I'd gladly work 2 extra hours per day for a 3 day weekend
More people work 10 hours a day than you think
I work 70 hours +
This generation is so embarrassing
Ik this a troll post but working 70 hours is beyond embarrassing cause iy either means you get paid s*** , youre entire existence is defined by your job or you work for yourself
Our country is efficient enough for the work week to only be 4 days (mon-thurs)
Depends on the company
Pop shop's always poppin
thats cool i have a degree from a top university on this very subject and my advising professors were PhDs from Harvard MIT and Stanford but have a good one

I'm pretty sure most in most careers nowadays they want you to have a life outside of your job because poor/depressing attitude towards life will decrease your productivity professionally... But that doesn't apply to minimum wage jobs cause even the managers hate their lives
you really think humans magically became more productive not the business tools they use?
i feel bad for some of you zoomers
Good thing those tools are getting paid more now
At my job I work my 40 hours and not a minute more. I see people staying late in the office and while I respect that I will always make sure to live within my means so I don’t feel pressured into working OT. I can honestly say the work I get done in 40 hours I could get done in 30, but I’d be content even if they allowed me just a day a week to work at home, or maybe every other Friday a half day, just something to show the company values the employee more than just as another body
