Tell that to Kendrick lmao the thing is that we finna see some stretch marks jiggling we go to the other tube.
Besides makes sense that this girl made her whole career with her mouth full cuz anything else that comes out of there sounds empty
I mean i love music videos but you can't force people to care, you have to do something thats actually cool
As a millennia who very clearly remembers how big of an even music videos used to be, so much so that mtv dedicated whole specials to them, this is true
Anyway stan Sevdaliza who gave Anitta the formula of how to make a good music video on a song she literally features on
as did Nelly Furtado
She doesn’t want to admit that her fast food tier music doesn’t attract anyone to watch her videos unless she shaking some ass
Your videos suck, P***itta.
And you made literally the same video multiple times forcing the same stereotypes.

Music videos are boring now. They can lose value and go away, it really makes no difference.
I watch them when I'm smoking weed or rolling
are really the only key markets for music videos in 2024
Yeah I feel like at least one of the things that doesn’t get talked about enough is how unrealistic/absorbent music videos have become. Music videos used to be at least somewhat relatable relatively and I think coupled with the music being better it established a better connection. You watch something like this
Clothes are regular, in a club dancing like you watch this s*** and WANT to be there because it’s somewhat in your means. All this designer s*** and flying on a jet to Dubai idk just don’t really resonate
Ehh music videos were essentially commercials and you can approximate the advertising value of a music video with short form content (reels, TikToks etc) while having wayyyy better ROI margins
So from a business standpoint a music video is probably one of the worst value propositions in media. (Speaking of high budget, multi-location, multi-day shoots)
artistically they still hold merit and are worth re-investing in. Music Videos were really the main way artist used to build their brand and was crucial to the storytelling of some of our biggest artist ever.
Like mentioned itt already it's kinda confounding that no streamer has tried to revitalize MVs and attempt to corner that market (iirc I think Apple signaled they were gonna do this and didn't ?)
There’s a new music video everyday. It’s on you to find a way how to cut through the noise. The f***ing singing pregnancy belly ain’t gonna cut it.

brah like, there's no reason to watch that second vid not every video needs to be thriller but at least give us something
a lot of videos these days are either borderline softcore p*** or just shock value like Lil Nas X to get people talking
we need to bring this back
Music videos are ass. Keep them. We’re adults.
I hope you just mean hers and not music videos overall

There another key and simple thing these videos miss too that Hot in Herre is a perfect example of (Beautiful as well): the video matches the spectacle of the song and instrumental
That Anitta video being posted does not look like a Reggaton banger
For a new artist it’s extremely important to drop visuals.
It’s so important that not seeing a new artist instantly becomes a marketing gimmick
