Nah its not a worldwide movement, its an american movement and niggas outside of america just tryna fit in

Also its not like Don Lemon is out there speaking about about canada lmao

The toronto protests are deserved tho, I hope he speaks on it

    Protests in Berlin
    Japan
    Canada

    All a common theme

    Police Brutality

Mind you half of Drake's family is based in Tennessee, I bet you don't choose to acknowledge that. You know his father is from the US. He has businesses and properties in the US.

And other countries trying to fit in????
    That's a f***ing awful take

I'm not gunna lie this s*** is getting really big. He definitely needs to start posting links to donate at the very least.

It really isn’t getting that big forcing people to tap dance to the beat of your drum is never the way to get people to display activism, the people he called out will ignore him and continue on. Don Lemon only just realised he’s black himself.

Can drake even get into america right now? Lmao the borders closed

I don’t know why youre single out that Drake for being a black Canadian is really not unique position. Canada is just across the border and more over Drakes biggest market is in the United States, he spent a large portion of his life and career in the United States. May it be touring or recording his associates and fans all reside here.

I find it wrong that Dake is conveniently black when it benefits him for his music making songs like Look Alive showing his deep appreciation for this culture but when it’s time that he should show solidarity with these very black people he screams out less he offends racists He’s only thinking about his bottom line

yall act like rappers are activists

if drake spoke out all the haters would be like ‘HeS NoT sTrUGgLeD a DaY’

Drake can’t win, yet he is the biggest artist in the world right now. Last time I checked, throughout the years, no matter what has been thrown at this man, he’s still manages to do numbers and continue in his success you moron.

Notice that the person you quoted is referencing racial issues, while you’re referencing musical success. That should tell you something in regards to what is really important in this current time we’re in. As a black man, the last thing that came to my mind in this discussion is “how many numbers Drake can do”.

He has a responsibility to do something but not necessarily speak out. Speaking out just seems forced the way these celebs do it.

    hotnewhiphop.com/don-lemon-calls-out-ellen-oprah-drake-diddy-and-more-for-doing-nothing-amid-protests-news.111514.html

He proceeds to call out massively wealthy celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Diddy, Drake, and more, acknowledging that while they do donate “millions,” their "visibility in helping speak out for these young kids” is what’s needed right now.

Are celebrities supposed to end racism and injustice with their words?
