Im 21 and i started smoking at 17, but over the past 2 years ive been smoking way more and this year, almost everyday. My breaking point was this weekend when i took a 40mg edible and it did nothing to me. I finally was able to feel high after i rolled 2 joints. The next day i threw out my papers and grinder, deciding that im done. Ive been too far gone, I need to switch things up. I want my drive back. But I'm still struggling tbh.

sounds like you cant quit cold turkey. Just start smoking 2-3 bowls a day instead of whatever you are doing now. Then try to only smoke at night. Then try to not smoke every other day

the drive isn’t an easy thing to just get back tho, if you lost it from weed. What were you into before?

I’m 21 and been smoking daily for three years, I can’t seem to find the willpower to stop, can’t sleep without it

  • I just kind of shifted naturally to a night smoker and don't smoke until after I'm done with work or school

Kind of want to save money and cut down but it's not like it's super expensive where I am

also, I haven’t smoked regular for 6 months and I still want to be high everyday so don’t expect that to go away. You’ll be worse off if you replace it w something else like alcohol or pills

I have a friend who tried quitting weed and immidietly became the kind of person to hold a pint with him everywhere he goes

Dude was a very heavy dabber and just went back to smoking anyways, but with a leveled up usage of booze

It’s hard asf I’m trying as well but I think that it’s something I won’t be able to give up

It really depends if you used weed to self medicate, because then you need to treat the course.
You also need to be aware if you have developed mental issues from smoking everyday and becoming addicted

If one of these are true, it makes sense as of why you have a hard time kicking the weed

I wish you the best and I hope you have some people you can lean on

  • I've stopped smoking entirely this year and pretty much just do edibles every now and then at night as a reward pretty much only ever have smoked or done edible after finishing tasks for the day

Forced tolerance break which forced me to take my time seriously. I live with family so I can only smoke between 10 pm and 6 am if I want to watch TV outside of my room.

Also taught me to pace myself, savor the high. Riding out a little bit of weed then progressively getting higher over a period of 4 or so hours >
