Quitting weed is so easy I’ve never understood people who act like it’s hard tbh.
I just finished a 3 month break at the beginning of august and just did it because I needed to clear my mind.
Then again I don’t smoke a whole lot, only once or twice a day and mainly just at night.
If it’s that hard for you maybe slowing down the actual amount you smoke first would make it easier for you.
Then you get to a point where you fully quit. Also if ur not a busy person maybe you should change that and try to be more productive with ur time because it’s a lot harder to quit when you have a bunch of free time.

“ ___ is so easy for me. I never understood how people act like it’s hard.*
“But if it’s really that hard for you ___ “
My nigga are you listening to yourself?
Yikes
Easily the most pretentious post itt.
Just cause you don’t struggle with something doesn’t mean no one can.
The way you worded this is horrible.
There’s no right for you to invalidate someone’s struggles. You’d been better off not saying anything tbh
Had to quit for a month for a possible job so i stopped you just gotta break the routine, it's not like theres withdrawls

Exactly my point it’s all mental

Maybe there was no bad intent but it’s worded very poorly
Simply tried to show you by reciting but cool

No it’s not the thread title asked how did YOU get over YOUR weed addiction.
Nowhere in my post was I “invalidating” other people’s struggles like you claim.
I’m simply speaking for myself.
Maybe YOU need to read before posting again.
I had a bad weed & shroom combo so I stopped everything for a month and now I only smoke like twice a week
I'm just happy I love weed and not alchohol tbh
Edit: OP it really is just about occupying your time with other s*** tbh, working out or pursuing goals with more focus

Since I need to read again let me break it down for you
Question: How did you get over your weed addiction?
Your answer: “Quitting weed is so easy I’ve never understood people who act like it’s hard tbh.”
That was literally your first sentence on this topic.
Now tell me how this DOESN’T invalidate people’s struggles?
In what way does this simply state how you overcame your addiction?
You can’t, because it doesn’t.
Do you seriously not realize the tone it sets for the entirety of your post?
Makes it seem like you’re above it all and downplaying the problem.
If that’s not the case, cool. But you should be able to realize how it comes off bruh
i stopped for a few days after smoking everday for almost a year
lmao big mood
Idk dog. I need to smoke at least once a month for my mental health's sake. But if you do it everyday i cant imagine you ever wnating to do s*** so i get that drawback
But i understand wanting your drive and ambition back
i far from addicted but last night i took 3 ediles, greened out and thought i was deadset going to die. can't really go into the detail but i deadset thought i was going to die
Weed addiction lol.
I smoke every day I work out boi boi
Im currently on a 16 day workout streak and its still going
Rest of my life is perfectly fine
Bump
At least you want change, that’s the first step tbh.
Are there any goals that weed holds you back from? Start there. If weed is causing financial issues then don’t smoke for a few paychecks and see how much you save. You gotta stay in control bro or it will control you. It’s happened to me before trust
i feel like for most people if its hard to quit, it means you are smoking as a way to self medicate/use it as a coping mechanism
which makes it harder when you stop because you dont have that coping mechanism anymore
really think about your mental state and think about if you may have some problems or stress and face them head on and sober to work through them
i think that therapy would be beneficial to everyone no matter what, so maybe you can look into that if you can afford it/you have insurance for it
After smoking regularly for about the same time as you, I quit for about a year. I didn’t really notice any difference so I went back to smoking and I’m fine. I think it was just paranoia and self doubt that made me thinking I was “addicted”
True addiction can cause serious health issues like with alcohol where people die from alcohol addiction or hard d****
Understand how it has negatively affected and triggered underlying mental health issues
Once that knowledge settled in, it took me maybe a year to really reduce up consumption long term. At least i didnt increase it at that time (tho i could have)
I’m still not completely sober but I’ve done 6 months clean this year
Finna go harder soon
